Thank you for using TheBansuriApp — Learn Flute with Rhythm (the “App”). Protecting your privacy is important to us. This Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. By continuing to use the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Microphone Access
We access your device’s microphone only while you are in a pitch-detection screen to analyse the notes you play.
We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
Personal Information
- Email address
- Display name (optional)
Used to create your account, sync progress, and personalise the experience.
App Usage & Diagnostics
- Feature usage (e.g., rounds completed)
- Crash & performance logs (Firebase Crashlytics)
- Device info (model, OS version)
2. How We Use Your Data

Microphone input is processed locally and never stored. Other data is kept in Google Firebase’s secure cloud.
3. What We Never Do
- Record or archive your microphone audio
- Sell or rent your data to third parties
- Track your activity outside the App or display intrusive ads
4. Data Storage & Security
- All traffic encrypted via HTTPS/TLS 1.2+
- Data at rest secured on Google Cloud (ISO 27001)
- Crash & analytics logs auto-deleted after 90 days
- Account data kept until you delete your account or 18 months of inactivity

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Please contact us if you believe we have such data.

- Google One Tap — Optional quick sign-in (policy)
8. Policy Updates
Material changes will appear here and in-app at least 7 days before they take effect. “Last Updated” will change accordingly.
